BuildUp is looking for a new colleague for his brand beSteel. beSteel is market leader within the Benelux in supplying light gauge steel frames for residential housing. Focus is on B to B customers (such as contractors, promoters, property developers, architects). To support the growth of the company we are looking to strengthen our team with a Technical Sales. Do you see yourself working at a young fast-growing start-up specialising in offsite construction? Then you are the person we are looking for.

Your mission

You are in charge of promoting the beSteel brand and your responsibilities are as follows: 

  • Prospecting: construction companies, architects, government agencies and other construction professionals are your sources of prospecting. Your job is to provide technical information and generate interest in light gauge steel frame construction among the construction professionals. 

  • Qualification: you focus on long-term partnerships and understand the needs of potential customers so you can guide them to the beSteel solution.  

  • Technical support: you provide technical assistance and training to new customers.

  • Collaboration: you will be part of a team of Business Developers and you will have to share your experience and good tips with them. You will also have to transfer information to Internal Sales so that you can turn offers into signed contracts. 

  • CRM: you will enter all your work and track your performance using activity metrics from our CRM (Odoo). 

  • Involvement: BuildUp is always moving and always in need of good ideas. You will therefore be involved in the company's continuous improvement process through various projects.

Required profile

  • You have experience in steel construction, timber frame or precast construction. 

  • You are ambitious, persistent and eager to exceed your goals.

  • You have excellent verbal communication skills and are good at establishing contacts. 

  • You are a team player at heart and willing to take risks for your team.

  • You speak perfect English, French and Dutch, but if not,  this is not a barrier.


  • Contract of indefinite duration

  • Fixed salary (€3500 - €4000 bruto) + commission on sales

  • Full-time (40h week - 20 + 12 days off)

  • Company car

  • Laptop + cell phone
